I should add that we have new merchandise coming out shortly which are going to be limited so if you see something that takes your fancy then don't delay because once there gone they will be GONE!
We now are available on WhatsApp if you would like to join our closed group let Carol know via carodaw56@Gmail.com that is where you can find out what merchandise and the voices are saying.
Well done Vince looking forward to hearing the CD we are very fortunate to have a small team of dedicated people who want to keep the magic of catweazle going well into the future, believe it were approaching the 60th anniversary how fantastic would it be if we could reach it and have achieved our goal of raising funds for our designated children's charity, I've already pre ordered at least 2 copies, one for my collection and the other to play, so far this year we have achieved much more than anticipated, if you can let me know of any copyright I maybe able to get some air play on Fiesta 95fm Southampton and on Outreach Gold , hopefully shortly I will go on the community hour show to update listeners on catweazle and the catweazle fellowship, so thank you Vince your a true asset to the continued success of the fellowship.
Exciting news for all true fans of Catweazle! If you're not aware, we're in the process of producing a very special and unique CD. This CD will contain ten original songs dedicated to the love of Catweazle. There will also be a booklet insert which will contain the lyrics for all the songs so you can learn them and sing along, plus some great illustrations. More to follow.
How did everyone get on with the treasure hunt? did you enjoy it, I did struggle on a couple and forgot to list down the locations as going forward, but got there in the end. June will soon be upon us did you put your name down for the paintballing if you did please contact Carol to confirm you are attending and to pay if you haven't already, we need full support with numbers for this to go ahead.
Cheers Vince you have always been a great asset to Catweazle and you are very much appreciated especially with your contributions for the continued growth of The Fellowship, as with many clubs, groups and associations the need for reinvention has to happen, many of us remember those Catweazle weekends at Hexwood, meeting Geoffrey and all the wonderful cast who graced us, all those members and guests getting a photo, a signature on a book or DVD, this year could be a massive turning point for Catweazle to be brought into a new generation, I won't give anything away Vince but I know existing members and new members won't be disappointed.
Hi all. As Graham and Carol will already know, there is work already happening behind the scenes to produce some more Catweazle goodies. I don't want to say too much, I'll leave that to those with more seniority than me, but suffice to say, I'm excited about what we're doing. Keep spreading the word about the Catweazle Fellowship and please do forward any ideas to raise money for these very worthwhile Children's Charities. It's good to know that stuff is continuing to happen and we all contribute to keeping the magic alive!
How's everyone doing on the Treasure hunt? I know Doug has responded and I'm sure he has enjoyed participating, Carol will be sharing some wonderful news on help we are receiving within our Fellowship, we cannot disclose anything at this stage as the legal boundaries of the Catweazle copyright is being explored within the Carpenter estate, be sure to keep reading this page for updates, but most of all please introduce yourself and voice your thoughts good or bad we want to know that this is the platform for most people.
In addition I am in discussion with Outreach Radio who have very kindly said that I could come in and talk about Catweazle, see there are still some very kind people out there, do you know anyone who might pass on the word of our Fellowship?
I agree with all that Grey says below about the latest info-filled newsletter and especially about other members writing short articles for inclusion in future editions. As Carol says, we don't want you to get fed up reading the ramblings of just her good self, Grey and yours truly !
Looking forward to the last clue and I'm a "yes" for all the proposed activities, ideas and potential items for sale......great work as always from Tech-Wizard Dave W !!!......and would love one of Geoffrey's roses for the garden !
It will be soooooo interesting to read all those first series call sheets as they will hopefully contain all the locations used including details of the property used for the interiors at Hexwood Farm !?
